The RTD Series is a new generation of tipping bucket rain gauge sensors, designed in full compliance with WMO-No. 8 (“Guide to Instruments and Methods of Observation”).
Entirely made of corrosion-resistant materials, they ensure long-term accuracy, durability, and minimal maintenance, providing reliable rainfall and precipitation measurement in any environment.
Rainwater collected by the aluminium funnel flows into a calibrated tipping bucket. Once the preset volume is reached, the bucket tips, empties the water, and returns to its initial position, generating an electrical pulse easily detected by data loggers or pulse counters.
Available with 200 cm² or 400 cm² collector diameters, the RTD Series offers flexibility for both standard meteorological stations and hydrological monitoring networks.

Heated versions automatically activate around +4 °C, with PID control for digital/analog models and ON/OFF control for contact models, ensuring reliable performance even in cold or snowy climates.
