The AST1000X/ type reference radiation station is a new fully automatic sun tracking system following the "Background Radiation Network (BSRN)" organized by WMO, which automatically measures the global radiation (GHI), direct radiation (DNI) and Radiation components such as scattered radiation (DIFF), which can calculate the sunshine duration, are higher standards and requirements for solar radiation. It can adapt to the business needs of the national climate monitoring network, meet the requirements of high precision and high stability of observation data, and can also be used for solar energy. The system adopts the traditional automatic sun tracker equipped with GPS and solar positioning probe, which meets the technical requirements of the International Radiation Background Observation Network, and accurately measures solar radiation, direct radiation and sky scattered radiation. It can also provide observations of other radiation parameters such as sky long-wave radiation, net radiation, and sunshine hours according to user requirements. As a general requirement for field observations, the system recommends users to join various meteorological observations: measure wind speed and direction, air temperature and humidity, atmospheric pressure and precipitation.
