4.3151.00.020 First class – Anemometer and wind direction sensors

The first class anemometer and wind direction sensors were designed to record the horizontal wind speed and direction in the field of meteorology and environmental measurement technology, site assessment and performance determination of wind turbines. The anemometers are certified according to IEC 61400-12-1 (2005-1)

Special characters are a defined and optimised, dynamic behaviour as well as:
• High level of measuring accuracy and resolution
• High damping ratio at a small delay distance
• Low starting threshold
• Very low power consumption
• No wear of the potentiometer due to mechanical stress
• Overvoltage and reverse polarity protection

The measuring value is available at the output as analogue signal. The output signal can be transmitted to display instruments, recording instruments, data loggers as well as to process control systems. For winter operation the instrument (4.3151.00.x2x) is equipped with an electronically regulated heating.
